Forging a Gender Equal World and Women Empowerment are centrict. The college has a robust Policy of non-tolerance towards any form of Gender Discrimination and is aimed towards bringing a positive change supports equity amongst genders Our commitment of providing a safe and secure campus, that offers equal opportunities in education and employment, is augmented by a variety of activities that promote \u201cGender Sensitization\u2019 and a dedicated Committee that ensures the implementation of the Action Plan. The Annual Gender Sensitization Action Plan is as follows: <strong>Promote awareness amongst Faculty Members, Staff and Students on issues like Health, Education, Gender Equality through Workshops, Seminars, Nukkad\u00a0 Nataks, Debates and Quizzes. Coord inate with State and National Commission for Women to\u00a0 awareness levels regarding Women\u2019s Rights<\/strong> and Prevention of Sexual Harassment through Workshops and Seminars. Conduct regular Meetings of Anti-ragging\/ Women and Student Grievances Redressal Committees for monitoring and evaluation of gender equality. .Organise Mentorship Programme where students are assigned Mentors whom they can approach for guidance. During the Orientation Programme for new students, Familianise them with campus life and values. .Conduct Workshops to promote Awareness regarding Cyber Security. Self-Defence, Entrepreneurship amongst Faculty Members, Staff and Students. Encourage Faculty Members to promote equal representation and facilitate equal participation in projects, co-curricular activities and sports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Women cell-<\/strong> \u201cwomen\u2019s cell\u201d can refer to different things depending on the context in which it is used. Here are a few possible interpretations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Women\u2019s Cell in an Organization or Institution<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> In many organizations, especially educational institutions and workplaces, there may be a designated \u201cwomen\u2019s cell\u201d or \u201cwomen\u2019s committee.\u201d This is typically a group or department that focuses on addressing issues related to women\u2019s welfare and safety. They may work on policies related to gender equality, sexual harassment prevention, and creating a safe and inclusive environment for women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Women\u2019s Cell in Police or Law Enforcement<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> Some countries have established specialized units within their police departments known as \u201cwomen\u2019s cells\u201d or \u201cwomen\u2019s help desks.\u201d These units are often responsible for handling cases involving crimes against women, such as domestic violence, sexual harassment, and gender-based violence. They provide support to female victims and help them navigate the legal system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Women\u2019s Cell in Colleges and Universities<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> Many educational institutions, especially in India, have \u201cwomen\u2019s cells\u201d or \u201cgender sensitization cells.\u201d These cells are set up to address issues related to gender discrimination, sexual harassment, and the general welfare of female students and staff on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Women\u2019s Cell in Hospitals<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> Some hospitals have women\u2019s cells or women\u2019s health departments that focus on providing healthcare services, information, and support specifically tailored to women\u2019s health needs.
