Eligibility Criteria<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>

For B. Tech<\/strong>
Candidates seeking admission in the Institute are required to pass Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination of W.B Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other recognized Board or University with 45% marks in Science Group (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics). In all B.Tech courses, 90% students of approved intake capacity will be admitted on the basis of merit position secured by the candidate in the Joint Entrance Examination of the State. Students on the basis of merit position in JEE MAIN may also be admitted up to 10% of total intake.

\nDiploma Holders in Engineering \/Technology qualifying in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET) are eligible on the basis of merit position for admission in the 3rd semester (2nd year) of B.Tech course. <\/p>\n\n
For MBA<\/strong>
Any graduate (10+2+3\/4) with valid MAT\/JEMAT score.<\/p>\n\n
For MCA<\/strong>
Candidates with the following eligibility can take admission in the 2-year MCA program approved by AICTE.\n<\/p>
\n
\nStudents who have passed Bachelor of Computer Application or Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent degree<\/li>\n
Students who have passed Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Arts with mathematics at 10+2 or at the graduation level with additional bridge courses as per the norms of the concerned university<\/li>\n
Candidates must have obtained at least 50 percent marks, or 45 percent marks in the case of candidates belonging to reserved categories, in the qualifying examination<\/li><\/ul>\n Students who don\u2019t have mathematics in graduation standard will have to attend mandatory Bridge Course<\/i>\n
