About the Department<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was established in 2002 and offers UG Programs and PG programs. ECE is a swiftly advancing field, with new ideas emerging every other second. From mobile phones to fiber optics and remote sensing, there are exciting avenues to explore and create. The ECE department at DIATM prepares students for careers in this constantly evolving discipline. ECE Dept. has well equipped labs and has ample resources in computing equipment. With great demand in industry and great placement opportunities, the department stands tall and proud. Our students are not only academically sound and disciplined but they also organize various events like ROCA, YODDHA etc. club activities to showcase their talents under non-technical, technical and cultural forums. Our main recruiters are INFOSYS, COGNIZANT, HCL, GENPECT, ERICSSON, M-PHASIS, IBM, Wipro, Tech-Mahindra, TCS, TATA-Steel etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Department attempts to provide their students an attractive curriculum which completely meets the latest technology needs and developments. The available diversity of expertise of the faculty prepares the students to work in global multicultural environment.

The Department not only aims to make our students technically sound and knowledgeable but also to nurture their wisdom and make them a better and responsible human being. I believe that my team consisting of ECE students, staff and faculty is capable of doing wonders. We hope that we will continue to deliver our best to serve the society and mankind. It is also expected that our students will continue to pass-on the skills which they have developed during their stay at this department to whole of the world for a better society.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
