On September 19, 2024, the Department of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) at DIATM successfully hosted a one-day seminar focused on the themes of Machine Learning and Full Stack Development. With the rapid evolution of technology, this seminar aimed to equip students with crucial insights and practical knowledge in these dynamic fields.

Objectives

The seminar aimed to:

  • Provide a foundational understanding of Machine Learning and Full Stack Development.
  • Highlight current trends and career opportunities within these domains.
  • Foster an interactive learning environment for students.

Schedule

The seminar featured a carefully curated schedule with insightful sessions led by industry experts.

Morning Session: Machine Learning

  • 10:30 AM – 11:30 PM: Keynote Address by Mr. Krishna Kumar
    • Overview: Mr. Kumar delivered an engaging keynote address on the transformative impact of Machine Learning in various sectors. He discussed key algorithms, their applications, and the ethical considerations in AI development.
  • 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Advanced Machine Learning Techniques
    • Overview: Mr. Kumar provided insights into advanced techniques such as deep learning and neural networks, demonstrating their application through case studies.

Afternoon Session: Full Stack Development

  • 2:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Introduction to Full Stack Development

  • 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Hands-On Workshop: Building a Web Application
